Cheesecakes make for wonderful dessert menu for parties and special occasions. A cheesecake is incomplete without its topping. Fresh cheese, chocolate, raspberry, nuts, strawberries, cherries, etc., are some of the popular toppings for such type of cakes.
Strawberry topping not only adds a luscious taste, but also meliorates its look, making it appear all the more mouth-watering. So, here are some easy recipes for preparing this topping, which will embellish the cake in the most veracious way.

Recipes for Strawberry Cheesecake Toppings

Recipe #1

Ingredients

Strawberries - 2 cups
White sugar - ⅓ cup
Vanilla - 1 teaspoon

Procedure
To prepare this strawberry topping for your cheesecake, first clean and remove the stems of the strawberries. Then, cut the strawberries into halves. Take a saucepan and add strawberries, vanilla, and sugar.
Cook the mixture at medium-high heat and stir the mixture occasionally. Cook the mixture for five minutes and then remove from heat. Remove 1/3 of the strawberry mixture and puree it in the blender. Combine this mixture to that in the saucepan and store it in the refrigerator. Pour this yummy strawberry topping over the cheesecake and enjoy the taste.

Ingredients

Cheesecake - 1
Strawberry - 1 lb (about 1.9 cups)
Water - 1½ cups
Sugar - 1 cup
Cornstarch - 3 tablespoons
Strawberry gelatin - 1 box (about 0.38 cups)
Procedure
This recipe will give you a congealed strawberry topping. The cheesecake for this type of topping should be cold and should be still in a spring-form pan. First rinse the strawberries under cool water and then drain the excess water by wrapping them in a paper towel.
Take a medium-sized saucepan and add cornstarch, water, and sugar. Heat the saucepan over medium heat and cook the mixture until it becomes thick and clear. Then combine strawberry gelatin to the cooked mixture and stir it until the gelatin dissolves completely. Next, remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool.
Now, take the whole strawberries and cut their tops off. Place these strawberries on the cheesecake that is still in the spring-form pan. Place them upside down on the cheesecake surface. You can start placing the strawberries from the center and then move towards the edges.
Now, when the gelatin mixture has cooled completely, pour it gently over the strawberries, and see that you cover strawberries and the cheesecake entirely. Place the strawberry-topped cheesecake in spring-form pan, in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours. Once it is frozen, loosen the cake, and unlock the pan carefully.

Strawberries - 2 lb. (about 3.8 cups)
Strawberry jam - 1 cup
Sugar - ½ cup
Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Salt - 1 pinch

Procedure
Clean, hull, and cut the strawberries into pieces having ¼ inch length. Take a medium-sized bowl and toss these strawberries with salt and sugar. 
Keep this mixture aside for half an hour to dissolve the sugar and salt. However, toss the strawberries occasionally. Blend the strawberry jam in the food processor to make it smooth. Transfer it to a saucepan and simmer it over medium-high heat. Cook the jam until it becomes dark in color and no froth remains. This may take about 3 minutes.
Then add lemon juice to the saucepan. Next, pour this mixture over the strawberries in the bowl and stir it well. Leave the mixture to cool completely and cover it with a plastic wrap. Refrigerate it for at least 2 hours. Use a spoon and spread this topping over a slice of cheesecake.
Tip: The minimum refrigeration time is 2 hours. However, you can refrigerate it for over 10 hours if desired.
