Nachos, for those who are not aware, in common parlance, are broiled tortilla chips topped with cheese and chili-pepper. Get some quick and easy nachos recipes from this Story.
Nachos make for excellent snacks and are also suitable as full meals when combined with other ingredients. Victory Club is the name of the restaurant which is known to be the birth place of this popular Mexican dish.

Recipe #1

Ingredients

Chicken breasts, skinless, boneless - 2, halved and chopped
Corn tortilla chips - 12 oz.
Mexican-style cheese blend, shredded - 8 oz.
Green chilies, diced and drained - 7 oz.
Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.
Cayenne pepper - 1 tsp.

Directions

Heat a skillet over medium high. In the meantime, mix the meat with the oil and pepper and let is stand for 15 minutes. Once the skillet is hot, fry the chicken until the meat leaves its pinkish color. Once done, keep in a separate bowl.
After preheating the oven to 325ºF, spread a thin layer of the tortilla in the baking dish. Cover the cheese with the meat (¼), chilies (¼), and cheese (¼). Repeat this forming layers and end with the cheese on top.
15 - 20 minutes is required for baking until the cheese has melted and everything has been cooked through. Serve hot with nacho toppings.

Ingredients

Green onion, sliced - 6
Garlic, crushed cloves - 2
Whole chicken breast, cooked and shredded - 1
Large tomato, diced - ½
Tortilla chips - 12 oz.
Cheddar cheese blend, shredded - 8 oz.
Salsa - 1 cup
Canola oil - 3 tbsp.
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Heat a skillet over medium heat and stir-fry the garlic in the oil with the white parts of the onions. Fry until tender and add in the meat, salt, and pepper. Mix well so that the ingredients get well coated with the oil and then mix in the salsa.
Preheat the oven to about 350ºF and arrange the tortilla chips on the baking sheet. Cover the chips with the prepared chicken mixture. Top this with the cheese blend and tomato. Bake for 10 minutes or until cooked through. Serve hot and enjoy with sprinkles of green onion tops!

Ingredients

Ground beef - 1 packet
Plain tortilla chips - 1 bag
Beans, refried - 16 oz.
Tomato sauce - 8 oz.
Taco seasoning - 1 oz.
Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 cup
Bell green pepper, chopped - ½ cup
Onion, chopped - ½ cup

Directions

Cook the meat in a saucepan. Before that, preheat the oven to 350ºF. Mix the meat, beans, onions, pepper, sauce, and taco and simmer for about 10 - 15 minutes. Meanwhile, fill a casserole dish with the chips. Cover the chips with the simmered mixture and sprinkle the cheese over it. Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese has melted. Serve delightfully!

Ingredients

Onion, finely chopped - 1
Chopped beef - 17 oz.
Kidney beans, drained and rinsed - 10 oz.
Corn chips - 8 oz.
Taco seasoning - 1 oz.
Cheese, grated - 1 cup
Corainder leaves, chopped - ½ cup
Tomato salsa - ½ cup
Water - ¼ cup
Olive oil - 1 tbsp.
Mexican, chili powder - 1 tsp.
Avocado, mashed and sour cream

Directions

Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook onion slices until soft. Preheat the oven to 392ºF. Once the onions are soft, add the meat and cook, stirring until browned. Mix kidney beans, chili powder, seasoning, tomato paste and water and add to the fried mixture. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. The mixture should become thick. Stir in the coriander leaves.
Place the chips on serving plates and top it with the prepared mixture and sprinkle cheese over it. Bake for 15 minutes until the cheese has melted. Top with salsa, avocado, and sour cream and enjoy the treat!

Ingredients

Jalapeño pepper slices, pickles - 27
Garlic, crushed cloves - 1
Beans, refried - 16 oz.
Tomatoes, sliced - 14 oz.
Ground round - 8 oz.
Monterey Jack cheese, shredded - 4 oz.
Tortilla chips, baked - 3 oz.
Red bell peppers, roasted and sliced - ½ cup
Green onions, sliced - ¼ cup
Cilantro, mined - ¼ cup
Sour cream, low fat - 3 tbsp.
Chili powder - 1 tbsp.
Oregano, dried - ½ tsp.
Salt to taste

Directions

Stir cook the meat in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned. In the meantime, preheat oven to 375ºF. Add peppers, cheese, beans, jalapeño pepper slices, chili powder, and salt to the cooked meat. Cook for 8 minutes or until thick. Keep in a separate dish.
Now, over medium heat, cook beans, cilantro, and green onions for 2 minutes. Reserve some of the beans, cilantro, and onions. Place the chips on serving plates and add this bean mixture over each chip. Now, cover this bean mixture with the meat mixture and top with cheese. Bake for 9 minutes or until cheese gets melted. When baked, top this with the sour cream and reserved cilantro and onions. Give extra toppings of jalapeño slices and serve with pleasure!

Mozzarella cheese, grated - ½ x 8 oz.
Spicy tortilla chips - 7 oz.
Guacamole dip - 5 oz.
Green chilies, large - 2
Large Tomatoes, chopped - 2
Black pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 382ºF. Fill a baking sheet with the tortilla chips and top the chips with tomatoes, cheese, and chillies. Season with pepper and cook in the oven until the cheese has melted and the nacho tips are browned. Serve on plates with fresh guacamole dip.
