Easy Baked Moroccan Squab Recipe
Ingredients
4 cleaned cut up squabs
2 cups brown rice
1 large yellow onion chopped
2 large red tomatoes diced
1 15 ounce can of chickpeas rinsed
1 cup of currents
5 cups mustard greens
2 large carrots diced
4 cups whole milk
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground allspice
2 tablespoons butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Boil the squabs for 10 minutes with salt. Remove squabs from water into a large heated ovenproof Dutch pot with butter, seasonings and brown squabs lightly.
Directions
Pour in rice then milk, add vegetables then squabs to the pot and bake covered 1 hour. Serve!
