Milkshake is a sweet, cold milk beverage served in tall glasses with or without straws. They can also be made with or without using ice cream. While most can't imagine their milkshakes without ice creams, many prefer to not have it these days.

Chocolate Milkshake

Serves: 2

Ingredients:
  • Milk, 2 cups
  • Ice cubes, 1 cup
  • Sugar, ½ cup
  • Cocoa powder, ⅛ cup
  • Non-dairy powdered coffee creamer, ⅛ cup
  • Thick fresh cream, 2 scoops
  • Vanilla extract, 1 tsp.
Add all the ingredients in a blender and beat until smooth. Pour in a glass and top with some fresh cream.

Strawberry Milkshake

Serves: 2

Ingredients:
  • Raisins, 6 - 8
  • Skimmed milk, 2½ cups
  • Chopped fresh strawberries, ½ cup
  • Ice cubes, ½ cup
  • Strawberry syrup, 4 tbsp.
Blend all the ingredients in a blender till the strawberries get well puréed with the rest. Pour into glasses and top it with some chopped fresh strawberry pieces.

Banana Milkshake

Serves: 2

Ingredients:
  • Sliced banana, 1
  • Whole milk, 2 cups
  • Ice cubes, 1 cup
  • Sugar-coated cereal, ½ cup
  • Granulated sugar, 2 tbsp.
  • Vanilla syrup, 1 tbsp.
Blend all the ingredients till the cereals get completely crushed and mixed with the milk. If you are serving this milkshake to kids, then top it with some crunch cereals and let them fish it out.

Vanilla Milkshake

Serves: 2

Ingredients:
  • Milk, 2 cups
  • Vanilla syrup, ½ cup
  • Pure vanilla extract/essence, 1½ tbsp.
  • Ground cardamom, ¼ tsp.
  • Powdered cardamom garnish, a pinch
Blend all the ingredients on high speed until smooth. Pour it in a glass and garnish with powdered cardamom.

Apple Milkshake

Serves: 2

Ingredients:
  • Peeled, cored, and chopped sweet red apples, 2
  • Chilled skimmed milk, 2 cups
  • White sugar, 2 tbsp.
  • Crushed ice cubes, 2 tbsp.
In a blender, blend all the ingredients except crushed ice cubes. Pour the milkshake in a glass and top it with crushed ice cubes.

Dates Milkshake

Serves: 2

Ingredients:
  • Milk, 2 cups
  • Seeded and chopped dates, 1 cup
  • Date syrup, ½ cup
  • Ice cubes, ½ cup
Add half the milk with dates and purée it. To this purée, add the rest of the milk and other ingredients and blend well. Pour in milkshake glasses and decorate with some ornate straws.

Mix Fruit Shake

Serves: 2

Ingredients:
  • Chilled milk, 2 cups
  • Peeled and chopped mix fruits (any fruit), 1½ cup
  • Ice cubes, 1 cup
  • Vanilla syrup, 2 tbsp.
Blend all the ingredients in a blender and pour in tall milkshake glasses. Serve chilled.
