Layered Taco Dip

While zeroing in on an appetizer for a get-together or a party, you must consider a layered taco dip that is served with tortilla chips or burritos. This one is not only a mouth-watering dish, it is also easy to make. This article provides the list of ingredients and the instructions for making this dish.
Served with nachos or burritos, a layered taco dip is not only easy to make, it is packed with flavors. You can choose to make a simple three-layered or an elaborate seven layered dip. The number of ingredients is also a matter of choice. Whichever recipe you follow, the outcome would surely be a mouth-watering dish that is going to tickle your taste buds, and leave all your guests wanting more.

Dip with Sour Cream

Ingredients
  • Chopped black olives, 1 can
  • Refried beans, 1 can
  • White onions, chopped, 2 tablespoons
  • Ripe avocados, 2
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Sour cream, 16 oz.
  • Lemon juice
  • Taco seasoning
Procedure
  • To make the 3 layered dip, you have to start by mixing beans and onions.
  • Now, this mix has to be spread over the pizza pan.
  • Mix avocados and lemon juice and spread this on top of the bean layer.
  • For the next layer, you have to mix the sour cream with the taco seasoning.
  • For the final layer, add the shredded cheese and olives.
  • Voila, the delicious dip is ready!

Dip without Beans

Ingredients
  • Lean beef, ground, lb.
  • Salsa
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Sour cream, 16 oz.
  • Dried onion soup mix, 1 envelope
  • Tomato, shredded,1
  • Taco seasoning mix, 1 envelope
  • Lettuce, shredded
  • Jalapeno peppers
Procedure
  • Prepare beef and taco seasoning as per the package instructions.
  • Mix the sour cream and the onion soup.
  • Spread this mixture on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Start adding the layers over the beef mixture.
  • Add another layer of salsa, cheese, and lettuce.
  • Top it with chopped tomatoes and jalapeno peppers.
  • Preheat the oven to a temperature of 350 degrees and bake for 15 minutes.
  • The yummy taco dip is ready, serve it with nachos or burritos.

With Beef

Ingredients
  • Ground beef, 1 lb.
  • Cream cheese, 8 oz.
  • Sour cream, 16 oz.
  • Taco seasoning, 1 envelope
  • Salsa
  • Green pepper, diced
  • Black olives, sliced
  • Lettuce, shredded
  • Tomatoes, diced
  • Guacamole
Procedure
  • Mix the sour cream and cream cheese in a blender or use a spatula, but make sure that you get the right consistency.
  • Place the ground beef over a medium flame.
  • Prepare the taco seasoning as per the package instructions and add it to the beef mixture.
  • Add salsa to the beef mixture.
  • Transfer this to the baking dish.
  • Add lettuce, olives, peppers, tomatoes, and guacamole to the final layer of the dip.
  • Serve this delicious dish with nachos and enjoy!

Seven Layered Dip

Ingredients
  • Jalapeno dip, 1 can
  • Avocado dip, 1 packet
  • Mayonnaise, ½ cup
  • Sour cream, ½ cup
  • Taco seasoning, ½ packet
  • Cheddar cheese, grated, 2 cups
  • Black olives, sliced, 1 can
  • Tomatoes, diced
  • Green onions, chopped
Procedure
  • Take a 10-inch baking pan and spread the jalapeno dip at the bottom of the pan.
  • On top of this layer, add a layer of avocado dip.
  • Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, and taco seasoning well and add this on top of the avocado dip.
  • Add cheddar cheese on top of the third layer.
  • Add the sliced and drained olives on top of this layer.
  • For the sixth layer, add the sliced tomatoes, topping it with the seventh layer of chopped green onions.
  • Serve the layered dip with nachos.
