Mamta Mule
Here are a few ways and procedures to help you have that perfectly poached egg ready for breakfast.
Want to know how to poach an egg in the right way? Here are some easy ways to poach egg perfectly. Poached egg is cooking it by poaching, that is, gently simmering it in water. This method of cooking egg is used by many because cooling oil or fat is not at all used in the process.
This increases its nutritional value. After breaking the shell, the egg is cooked until the egg white hardens. Remember that a perfectly poached egg is the one in which the egg yolk is soft and runny.

In Boiling Water

Firstly, take a cooking pan. Pour a few inches of water in it and heat it. Now, take a small bowl. Break the egg carefully in this bowl. Add a bit of vinegar in water and stir well. Remember that you do not need boiling or simmering water.
Just before the water in this pan starts to simmer, using a spoon or spatula stir the water speedily and in a circular manner. Now, pick up the bowl with the egg and tip it in the middle of the pan so that the egg is gently transferred into the boiling water with minimum turbulence.
That's it! Use a spatula gently if the egg sticks to the bottom of the pan. After a few minutes, the egg will start to wobble. It's the right time to take it out, using a slotted spoon. So, the egg is ready to be served with a toast bread. Sprinkle salt and pepper over it and your breakfast is ready.

In the Microwave

Poaching an egg using a microwave is an easy and fast way to cook this classic food item. Take a dessert bowl. Boil water to fill up ¾ of this bowl. Pour water into the bowl. Next, add a dash of vinegar to this water and stir constantly in a circular motion.
Now break an egg carefully in center of the bowl. Now, place a lid on the bowl and place the bowl in the microwave. Cook the egg in the microwave for 1½ minutes. Now take it out and serve as desired. You can cook it for longer, if required.

With an Egg Poacher

Fill a pan with an inch of water and heat it. Now, place the egg cups in the egg poacher frame. Lightly grease the bottom of cups with butter. Break an egg into each cup of the egg poacher. Once the water starts boiling, lower the heat. Slowly place the egg-poacher into this pan and cover it. Let the eggs cook for about 2-3 minutes and they are ready! Turn off the heat, remove the egg poacher from the pan, and slide the eggs out one by one onto a dish, using a spatula.
