Eggs can be served as the perfect food for breakfast. They are packed with loads of proteins and are fat free, which earns them the number one position in the list of healthy breakfasts. They are an incredible source of nutrition.
They are filling, flavorsome and liked by everyone. Moreover, there are scores of different ways in which you can prepare them, right from boiled to scrambled. A lot of other delicious recipes regard them as one of the prime ingredients. All the recipes mentioned below are simple to make and will take just a few minutes to prepare.

Scrambled

Scrambled eggs are one of the favorite breakfasts enjoyed by kids. This is an easy recipe which children will also love to make for themselves.
Step 1: Take a shallow bowl and grease it with butter or olive oil. Beat eggs in it thoroughly, using a fork.
Step 2: Add about 1 tbsp. milk and beat again. You can also use water instead of milk.
Step 3: Put in salt and pepper and blend well.
Step 4: Cook for 1- 2 minutes, stirring in between.
Step 5: You can add shredded cheese on top and cook for 1 more minute.
Step 6: Let it rest for 2 minutes and then serve with toasted slices of bread.

Poached

Poached eggs form the basis of many dishes like Benedict and Florentine.
Step 1: Take a 6 oz. custard cup. Add water and white vinegar to it. Stir well.
Step 2: Break an egg into it. Pierce the yolk with the help of a toothpick.
Step 3: Cover it with a lid or plastic wrap.
Step 4: Cook it for 1minute. Drain the egg from the hot water immediately.
Step 5: Sprinkle salt and pepper and serve it hot.

Egg Whites

These serve as a treat for those who are health conscious and try to avoid excess calories and fats. Here is a recipe, which can be a perfect snack after exercises. Its light yet healthy. This is how you make it.
Step 1: In a cup, beat a couple of egg whites.
Step 2: Add chopped mushrooms, chopped onion, and sliced tomatoes to it.
Step 3: Mix it well and then add black pepper.
Step 4: Microwave it for about 5 minutes and your healthy post gym snack is ready.

Fried

Fried eggs are not a very healthy option but it serves as a good weekend breakfast.
Step 1: Melt some butter on a plate. You can even use oil instead of butter.
Step 2: Break the egg on a plate. Pierce the yolk with a toothpick. This is done so that it doesn't explode.
Step 3: Cook it for about 30 seconds till it sets. Your dish is ready.
Never put a shelled egg into the microwave, as the egg will explode due to the heat, because, the molecules heat up and a pressure is created within the shell, which may cause the explosion. So always be careful.
