Microwaving Bacon

If you want to leave out the fat, place the bacon strips in a bowl so that the grease gets collected in it
  • On a microwavable plate, place paper towels, and arrange bacon strips so that they are not overlapping each other. The paper towels will absorb the excess fat.
  • Cover the strips with another paper towel to reduce the splattering of grease in the microwave.
  • Set the microwave on high for about five minutes.
  • Turn the bacon over after three minutes to ensure that it is cooked evenly on all sides.
  • After everything is cooked, remove the plate from the microwave and transfer the strips to a new plate with fresh paper towels. Let the bacon cool for about ten minutes before serving.

Crispy Bacon

Crispy, crunchy bacon sure is a delight. For this, cook the bacon in the method given above and then allow the strips to cook in the microwave for two more minutes. Transfer the bacon strips onto some paper towels to soak up excess fat and then serve.
