This is the basic type of fruit dip. The vanilla yogurt used for preparation must be nice and fresh. Using freshly ground cinnamon will enhance the flavor of the fruit dip. Take the peach preserves in a bowl. Add one cup of fresh vanilla yogurt to it. Gently sprinkle ¼ teaspoon of freshly ground cinnamon powder and mix well.

Hawaiian Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup - Plain yogurt
  • ¼ cup - Honey
  • 8 oz - Pineapple slices
  • 8 oz - Softened cream cheese (low-fat)
  • ½ teaspoon - Ginger (ground)
Method
This is a fruit dip with the Hawaiian touch. Take a pineapple and cut it into slices. Crush the slices and let the juice drain out. Keep the crushed pineapple aside for some time. Take plain yogurt, honey and low-fat cream cheese, previously softened, in a bowl and mix well to get a creamy paste. To this mixture, add ½ teaspoon of ground ginger.
Ginger adds a natural flavor to the dip and makes the dip relishing. Add previously crushed pineapple to this mixture and mix well. This dip tastes best with firm fruits like apple, strawberries, etc. If you wish to have this dip with less firm fruits, simply skip adding pineapple to the fruit dip. It will still taste yummy!

Dip with Vanilla Flavor

Ingredients
