Non-alcoholic Roy Rogers Drink

Ingredients
  • 1/4 ounce grenadine
  • Cola
  • Maraschino cherry for garnish
Preparation time: 3 minutes

Serves: 1 person

Directions:

Fill a highball glass halfway with ice. Now, pour all the ingredients in the glass, and stir well. To complete the drink garnish it with maraschino cherry.

Ginger-Lemon Roy Rogers Drink

Ingredients
  • 4 ounces ginger ale
  • 2 ounces lemon-lime soda
  • 1 teaspoon grenadine syrup
Preparation time: 2 minutes

Serves: 1 person
Directions:

Pour the ginger ale, lemon-lime soda and grenadine into a highball glass almost filled with ice cubes, and stir well. Garnish with a maraschino cherry, and serve it chilled.

  • 8 ounces Bacardi Silver
  • 2 ounces Peter HeeringĀ 
  • 2 ounces Coca-Cola with lime

Fill up a highball glass with ice. Next, add all the ingredients to it and stir well to serve it right.
A Roy Rogers drink is often confused with a Shirley Templeā€•another non-alcoholic mocktail. The simple difference between the two drinks is that a Shirley Temple is made with Sprite, while Roy Rogers uses Cola. When the red-colored syrup is added to Sprite it gets a pink tone, whereas Roy Rogers looks dark despite any variations that you may make to it.
