The official story behind the Baltimore Zoo drink was that it was made in the 1990s at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, by a graduate called Leon A. Bogucki. Whether the drink was a fluke made with whatever alcohol that was found or whether it was specially crafted, still remains a mystery.
Since the drink has many version, and is tweaked as per convenience, there are many unofficial stories behind its origin and maker. Though the recipe may vary, the no-fuss preparation remains the same.
The Baltimore Zoo drink is a strong cocktail and is quite similar to the Long Island Iced Tea. It is abundant in flavor and easy to make, making it quite popular.

Baltimore Zoo Drink With Tequila
Ingredients:
● Silver tequila, ½ fluid oz.
● Gin, ½ fluid oz.
● White rum, ½ fluid oz.
● Vodka, ½ fluid oz.
● Triple sec, ½ fluid oz.
● Orange juice, 3 fluid oz.
● Grenadine, 3 fluid oz.
● Beer, 4 fluid oz.
Procedure:
Fill a pitcher with ice cubes and add tequila, gin, white rum, orange juice, vodka, triple sec, grenadine, and beer. Stir well and serve.

Tip: Use good quality beer or lager for a better tasting drink.

Baltimore Zoo Drink With White Rum
Ingredients:
● White Rum, 1½ oz.
● Gin, 1½ oz.
● Vodka, 1½ oz.
● Triple Sec, 1 oz.
● Sour Mix, 1½ oz.
● Grenadine, 1 splash
● Beer, 1 splash
Procedure:
Start building your drink in a pitcher by adding ice cubes, followed by white rum, gin, vodka, triple sec, sour mix, grenadine, and beer. Stir well and serve.

Baltimore Zoo Drink With Peach Liqueur and Amaretto
Ingredients:
● Vodka, 1 shot
● Light rum, 1 shot
● Gin, 1 shot
● Triple sec, 1 shot
● Peach liqueur, 1 shot
● Amaretto almond liqueur, 1 shot
● Grenadine syrup, 1 shot
● Sweet and sour mix, 1 dash
● Beer, 1 splash
Procedure:
In a highball glass, pour ice, vodka, rum, gin, orange liqueur, peach liqueur, amaretto, grenadine, sweet and sour mix, and beer. Stir well and serve.
As you can see, this is an easy drink to make that tastes better in the company of friends. This drink consists of many strong liquors and beer; therefore, it is advised that you do not drink and drive.
