It is consumed in all its forms meaning raw, fried, or boiled form, and it is almost an integral part of a healthy breakfast. Boiled eggs; however, make the perfect breakfast recipe which is a healthy and lighter form of eggs than say fried ones. Boiling eggs sounds a cakewalk for most of us. But, is it really?
As we all know, one can boil eggs by various methods, which is the reason why there are various methods and a duration that is required for boiling them perfectly. Well, the following part of the story deals with all the methods of boiling them. So, keep reading!

Hard-Boiled Eggs

Well, so you are keen to know how to hard boil eggs. For that, you will need the desired number of eggs, water, and a saucepan that can be spacious enough to boil all of them. Place them in the saucepan, and pour water on them.
Make sure that the water levels fully cover them, and they are not placed too close to each other, otherwise they might get cracked. Then turn on the heat on high flame, and bring the water to boil. 
Once the water starts to boil, place lid on the pan, which accelerates the process of boiling them. Once the water is boiled to rolling, you need to reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 12 minutes. If the eggs are too large, then you need to boil them for 15 minutes.
After that, remove the saucepan from heat and hold the eggs under cold water. When cool, peeling them gets pretty easy. Once peeled, your delicious hard-boiled eggs are ready!

Soft Boiled Eggs

If you are also a fan of soft boiled eggs and bread soldiers, then for that, you need to learn how long to boil an egg for the soft boiled version in the first place. Similar to the process of hard boiling, you need to take the desired number of eggs in the pan and cover them with water.
When the water comes to rolling boil, you need to reduce the heat and simmer the eggs for only about 3 minutes. Here again you need to consider the softness that you prefer. If you want the yolk to be totally fluid, then you need to boil them for about 2 - 2½ minutes only.
Once they are boiled, transfer them gently in a saucepan filled with cold water, and your soft boiled eggs are ready for you to savor!

Deviled Eggs

Now that you are well aware about the process of boiling eggs, you can easily learn how to make deviled eggs. For that, take the desired number of eggs in a saucepan, and add water in it till they get fully covered. Then bring them to rolling boil over high flame. Then reduce the heat, and boil them for about 12 minutes.
Then, remove them from that pan, and transfer them into a pan filled with cold/iced water. Once they are cooled, peel them well. After peeling them, cut them into half (lengthwise). Then remove all the yolks in a medium-sized bowl. Then mash yolks with a fork, and further try any of the known deviled eggs recipes and serve.
