Then take out the New Mexico chilies and the guajillo from the bowl and scrape the pulp with help of a spoon. Now, combine this pulp and pasilla chili in a food processor along with the water in which they were soaked. Puree this mixture properly, so that all the ingredients get combined properly. Then, add cumin, salt, brown sugar, vinegar and garlic to the mixture in food processor and again puree the mixture to attain smooth texture.
