Grilled Filet Mignon Recipe

Ishani Chatterjee Shukla
Try out some absolutely delicious and truly flavorsome grilled filet mignon recipes mentioned in the following story.
The term filet mignon means cute fillet in French. It is basically a steak cut, which is perhaps the most popular and coveted of all red meat cuts, especially, if the meat in question happens to be beef. As much as we love our regular steak binges, most of us are not very clear about what it is, other than the fact that it comes from bovine quadrupeds. A steak is a cut of beef and not a dish or recipe.
A typical steak is a cut of beef which is characterized by the meat being cut perpendicular to the bovine's muscle fibers. This is believed to enhance the tenderness of the meat. Filet mignon is a cut sourced from the tenderloin (the psoas major muscle which lies before the lumbar vertebral transverse). It is typically sourced from either a steer or a heifer. You will find grilling it really simple as the meat is extremely tender and gets cooked very fast.
