Gas Grill Cooking Recipes

Grilled Potato Bake

Ingredients
  • 8 medium-sized baking potatoes (washed and dried)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • ½ pound mushrooms (sliced)
  • ½ cup green onions (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons nonstick vegetable cooking spray
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Procedure
Take the potatoes and pierce the skin from all sides with the help of a fork. Place these potatoes on a medium heat gas grill. Cook for about 45 minutes and turn occasionally until they can be pierced easily with a fork. Remove the cooked potatoes and keep them aside. Preheat a saucepan in the grill and spray it with the nonstick cooking spray.
After heating for 2 minutes, add the garlic to it, and cook for a few seconds. Then, add the mushrooms, green onions, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well and cook until the mushrooms turn tender. While serving, slice the cooked potato and spread the mushroom mixture over it. Season the dish and serve hot.

Grilled Corn and Butter

Ingredients
  • 6 corn ears
  • ½ cup margarine
  • ½ teaspoon basil leaves
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Procedure
For making the seasoning butter, melt the margarine in a saucepan and add the basil leaves and garlic powder to it.
Cover the corn ears with the seasoning butter from all the sides, and sprinkle them with the salt and pepper. Place each corn in the center of a foil and seal it properly. Grill the corn ears on a medium heat gas grill, turning occasionally, and cook for about 30-35 minutes. Open the foil and serve the corn with the seasoning butter.

Grilled Pork Chops

Ingredients
  • 6 butterflied pork chops
  • 1 medium-sized onion (chopped)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin (ground)
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • ½ cup malt vinegar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Procedure
In a saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat, and add the onion, garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper to it.
Cook for about 5 minutes till the onion turns golden brown. Then add the ketchup, malt vinegar, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well and simmer for about 10-15 minutes. Remove the cooked sauce mixture, and keep aside. Keep the gas grill over medium heat and add the pork chops to it.
Grill them by turning occasionally until the pork chops are cooked properly. Remove the cooked pork chops, brush them with sauce mixture, and serve. You can add more flavor to make your food recipes delicious by adding supplementary materials to the grill like vine cuttings and hard wood chips.
