A perfect frozen margarita includes tequila, triple sec, fresh lime or lemon juice, along with crushed ice. Here are some recipes on how to make a refreshing margarita.
Marian K
Men and women around the world love a tart margarita which makes it a bestseller cocktail. It incorporates triple sec (an orange-flavored liqueur), tequila, and lime/lemon juice. For a fabulous margarita with zing, one should include freshly-squeezed lime juice in it. The margarita originated in Mexico, where it was prepared using key limes. Contemporary versions of it in the US are made using the thick-skinned Persian limes.
While making this drink, all the ingredients are shaken in a cocktail shaker along with ice. Alternately, it may be served on the rocks or blended with crushed ice. A margarita is served in a special salt/sugar-rimmed margarita glass. The popular contemporary versions of the traditional recipe include different flavors such as chocolate, raspberry, strawberry, mango, and peach.
