Frozen margaritas are tequila-based alcoholic drinks that are made with tequila, triple sec, and lemon or lime juice. The trademark for these frozen margaritas is that it is served with salt on the glass rim with lime wedges as garnish.

Frozen Lime Margarita

Ingredients
  • Tequila, 4 oz.
  • Jose Cuervo (1800), 4 oz.
  • Ice cubes, 3 cups
  • Sugar, 1 cup
  • Ice water, ¾ cup
  • Lime juice, 2
  • Lemon juice, 2
  • Coarse salt, garnish
  • Lemon slices, garnish
  • Lime slices, garnish
  • 4 - 5 mint leaves, garnish
In a blender, combine all the ingredients and mix it on high speed until the ice is crushed properly. For garnish, rub a lemon slice around the rims of pre-chilled glasses and dip them in a plate of coarse salt; this will coat the rims of the glasses. Now pour the mix in the glasses, and garnish with mint leaves along with slices of lime and lemon.

Frozen Mango Margarita

Ingredients
  • Silver tequila (80 proof), 4 oz.
  • Frozen mango, diced, 10 oz.
  • Orange liqueur, 2 tablespoons
  • Sugar, 2 tablespoons
  • Ice cubes, 3 cups
  • Ice water, 1 cup
  • Lime juice, ¼ cup
Blend all the ingredients together for about 1―2 minutes until it becomes smooth. Place a few pieces of frozen diced mangoes at the bottom of pre-chilled glasses. Coat the glass rims with lemon juice and coarse salt. Once the mix is ready, pour it in pre-chilled glasses.

Frozen Cadillac Pomegranate Margarita

Ingredients
  • Tequila, 4 oz.
  • Grand Marnier (1880), 2 oz.
  • Ice cubes, 2 cups
  • Pomegranate juice, 1 cup
  • Lemon juice, ¼ cup
  • Orange liqueur, 2 tablespoons
  • Salt, ¼ teaspoon
In a blender, combine tequila, pomegranate juice, lemon juice, orange liqueur, ice, and salt. Coat the glass rims with lemon juice and coarse salt. Once the mix is ready, pour it in pre-chilled glasses.

Frozen Blood Orange Margarita

Ingredients
  • Triple sec, 1 cup
  • White tequila, 1 cup
  • Blood orange juice, ½ cup
  • Lemon juice, 2 tablespoons
  • Ice cubes, 3 cups
Combine triple sec, lemon juice, orange juice, and ice in a blender till you get a smooth mixture. Add white tequila and blend for a couple of seconds more. Coat the glass rims with lemon juice and coarse salt. Once the mix is ready, pour it in pre-chilled glasses.

Frozen Watermelon Margarita

Ingredients
  • Silver tequila (80 proof), 2 cups
  • Orange liqueur, 4 oz.
  • Melon liqueur, 2 oz.
  • Cubed watermelons, without seeds, 5 cups
  • Sugar syrup, ½ cup
  • Lime juice, ½
  • Watermelon wedges, garnish
Blend watermelon to make a puree, pour it in ice cube tray, and freeze it for 3―4 hours. Blend all the ingredients together until it gets smooth. Place the watermelon ice cubes in the pre-chilled glasses, and pour the margarita in it. Use watermelon wedges as garnish.
