Party Finger Food Recipes

Avocado Salsa Dip

Ingredients:
  • Lemon juice, 1 tablespoon
  • Mild salsa, 400 grams
  • Corn chips, to serve
  • Ripe avocados, 2
Procedure:

First, cut the ripe avocados into half and remove the seeds from them. Scoop out the flesh of the avocados with the help of a spoon. Collect this in a small bowl, and add the lemon juice and salsa to it. Mash these ingredients such that some avocado chunks remain in the mixture. Serve the dip in small bowls with corn chips.

Cheese Spinach Finger Food

Ingredients:
  • Eggs, 2
  • Milk, 1 cup
  • Salt, 1 teaspoon
  • Flour (sifted), 1 cup
  • Monterey Jack cheese, 1 pack
  • Frozen spinach (chopped), 1 package (10 ounces)
  • Baking powder, 1 tablespoon
Procedure:

Cook and drain the frozen spinach as per the directions on the package. Add all ingredients to a medium-sized bowl, and mix them properly. Grease a baking pan with some butter, pour the mixture into it, and bake for 45 minutes at 350 °F. Let the mixture cool for 10 minutes after it is completely baked. Lastly, cut it into small squares to serve.

Potato Cubes

Ingredients:
  • Sweet potatoes, 2
  • Cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger (grounded)
Procedure:

Wash, peel, and cut the sweet potatoes into small cubes. Then, place the cubes in a microwave-safe container, and cook them in the microwave for 5 to 7 minutes. Sprinkle some ground nutmeg, cinnamon, and ginger over the sweet potato cubes, and serve.

Fruit Treat

Ingredients:
  • Banana (small), Half
  • Plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons
  • Ripe peach, 1 or 2
  • Oatmeal, 1 to 2 tablespoons
Procedure:

Peel the peaches and cut them into small cubes. Then in a medium-sized bowl, mash the yogurt and banana together until they blend well. Add the peach cubes to this mixture, and stir well so that the cubes are well coated. Later, roll these cubes into the oatmeal flakes, and serve.
