Whether it is pudding, ice creams, cupcakes, chocolate cakes or fudge, there is literally no end to the choice that you have when it comes to east to make dessert recipes. Here are a few dessert recipes that will help you prepare yummy and delicious desserts.

Banana Pudding

Ingredients
  • 3-4 bananas (ripe but firm)
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 3 cups milk (low-fat or whole)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons butter (room temperature)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • Sweetened whipped cream
  • Vanilla wafer cookies
  • Banana slices for garnish
  • Mint sprigs (optional)
Method

In a bowl mix the salt, flour, and sugar; stir and blend well. Into this, pour the milk and stir it in until the mixture turns smooth. Then, pour this mixture onto the top of a double boiler and cook by whisking until the mixture starts turning thick. In another bowl, whisk the egg yolks and add the cooked milk mixture to the bowl of whisked eggs.
Return this mixture to the double boiler and add the vanilla and butter to it. Whisk until the mixture turns thick; set it aside from the heat and allow it to cool. To serve, place the sliced banana and wafers in layers and pour the pudding over the banana slices. At the end of the final layer, add a dollop of whipped cream and serve.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge

Ingredients
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1½ teaspoons cocoa powder
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Method

In a saucepan, combine the sugar, milk, and margarine; bring the mixture to a boil, stirring frequently. Once it turns soft, remove it from the heat and add to it the peanut butter and vanilla extract. Beat this mixture well until it turns creamy and pour it into buttered pans.
Allow it to cool and solidify in the pans. Then, garnish with chocolate chips and roasted almonds and serve.

Apple Crumble Pie

Ingredients
  • 1 Granny Smith apple (peeled; finely chopped)
  • 1 egg (lightly whipped)
  • 1 egg yolk (lightly whipped)
  • 1½ cups flour
  • ¼ cup raisins or any other dried fruit like craisins
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 10 refrigerated biscuits
  • 1/3 cup sugar and ¼ cup cornstarch
  • 125 grams butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2½ tablespoons butter
Method

In a bowl, mix the flour, cornstarch, butter, and sugar and mix thoroughly. Then, add the egg white and whisk again. To this, add the vanilla essence and egg yolk and mix until it turns into a smooth dough. Place the dough in a zip lock back, roll it out and refrigerate it for 30 minutes.
Remove the dough and preheat the oven to 375 °F. In a bowl, crush the biscuits and mix with it with the apples, dried fruits, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and butter. Spread this mixture on the dough and place it in the oven to bake for around 15 minutes. Remove and serve in slices.
