Making fudge isn't very difficult. Finding variations in recipes is again simple. While you can easily buy any flavor you like, making it at home gives you the freedom to experiment. The most simple form of fudge includes only milk, butter, and sugar.
Whatever little or more you add to it makes up a new recipe. Here, we've given you three of the most simple fudge recipes you can try your hand at.

Marshmallow Fudge

Ingredients
  • 12 (1 oz.) squares German sweet chocolate
  • 1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow crème
  • 1 (12 fl. oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 4½ cups white sugar
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • ⅛ tsp. salt
Procedure
Add marshmallow crème to chocolate chips and German sweet chocolate in a big bowl. Mix well and keep aside. Take a big pan and add evaporated milk, butter, salt, sugar to it, bring to a boil, and cook for about 6 minutes over medium heat; stir continuously.
Now, pour this hot mixture of sugar and milk over the chocolate mixture and also stir in pecans. Spread this mixture on 10" X 15" pan; let it stand until firm. Then cut into squares and serve.

Butterscotch Fudge

Ingredients
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup walnut pieces
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract
Procedure

Melt butterscotch morsels and chocolate along with milk using a double boiler. Stir constantly until the ingredients melt and the mixture starts to thicken. When the mixture thickens, remove it from heat.
Now add vanilla and walnuts to it and blend well. Once the mixture is well blended, pour it into a 9" X 9" X 2" well-greased pan. Refrigerate until the mixture becomes firm enough to slice.

White Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients
  • 1 (12 oz.) package white chocolate chips
  • 1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream (or fluff)
  • 6 oz. butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp. orange extract
  • Orange food coloring (or a combination of red and yellow)
Procedure

First prepare a 13" X 9" pan by lining it with an aluminum foil that's been greased with cooking spray. Next take a saucepan and put butter, sugar, and cream in it. Mix and heat the mixture until the sugar dissolves and the butter is melts.
After that, brush the sides of the pan with a wet pastry brush. Boil the mixture, and once it starts boiling, stir for about 4 minutes.
When boiled, remove from heat and add marshmallow cream along with the chocolate chips; stir. Continue stirring until the chocolate has completely melted and is smooth.
Now pour ⅓ of the mixture into a bowl and set aside. Add orange food coloring and orange extract to the remaining mixture and stir until it becomes of even color. Remember to act quick as there is a possibility of the fudge getting set before the procedure is over.
Now pour the orange fudge, the orange mixture in the prepared pan and drop a spoonful of white mixture, which was kept aside atop the orange fudge in an even layer. To create orange white swirls, simply drag a table knife or toothpick over the fudge.
Refrigerate for 1 hour. While removing the fudge from the pan, pull it out using foils as handles. Use a sharp knife to cut it in squares. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about a week. Bring to room temperature and serve.
