Easy Dinner Recipes for College Students

While living the life of a student, tiring schedule leave no enthusiasm for cooking a healthy meal. Read more for some easy dinner recipes for college students, to have a nutritious meal.
Your day begins at 6 in the morning and ends at 10 in the night. Relentless classes, assignments, projects and studies take up your time. A quick bite at the nearest canteen within the university premises is your only source of energy.
You are back in your dorm and hungry for some homemade food, or at the least something filling. Too tired to cook, you pass the night on a few munchies. The next day, the same schedule repeats. College is barely leaving you any time to eat healthy meals and so to solve your problem, here are a few easy dinner recipes for college students.

Baked Macaroni and Cheese

In a baking container, put a layer of boiled macaroni and grate a layer of cheese. Pour some white sauce over it and buttered crumbs of bread. Bake until the crumbs and cheese are brown. This can easily be done in a microwave oven. Eat it hot, while the cheese is bubbling.

Pancakes

Who said you could have pancakes only for breakfast? Don't bother yourself with eggs, flour, and milk. Just buy a ready-made mix and pour it in a pan to have warm pancakes within minutes, with the syrup of your choice.

Sandwich and Drink

Grab some baguettes (they are really cheap and have a longer shelf life too) and a nice chunk of cheese that you like. Slice the baguettes and the cheese, to make sandwiches and have it with a juice of your choice.

Scrambled Eggs

Take as many eggs as you want. Pour a teaspoon of oil in a skillet, break the eggs, add ½ cup of milk, salt, pepper, and herbs if you have any. Toast some slices of bread and you are all set to eat the meal!

Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese

You will need a can of tomato soup, bread, and cheese for making this dish. For making your task easier, use cheese spread. Put two slices of bread on a pan to just slightly warm them up.
Once done, spread some cheese on the slices, and make sandwiches. Meanwhile, heat the soup in a microwave oven. Have the soup and the sandwiches together, to get a fuzzy feeling on a chilly winter nights.

French Toast

To make French toast, you will need 3 eggs and a loaf of bread. Break the eggs and beat them with salt, pepper, and some milk into a frothy mixture. Slice the slices of bread into half, dip the slices in egg batter and fry them in a preheated skillet with 3 tablespoons of oil.

Spaghetti and Cheese with Boiled Chicken

This is one of the easy dinner recipes for beginners. Boil 2 cups of spaghetti. Spread it on greased baking dish. Grate about ¼ cup of cheese on top of it and lay it with ½ teaspoon of butter.
Add a layer of boiled chicken on top and once again grate it with ¼ cup of cheese. Bake it till the cheese becomes bubbly and brown. Serve the dish hot with some soup.
