Easy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Basic Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp. hot water
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
Process
Preheat the oven to 175ºC. Take a bowl and cream white sugar, butter, and brown sugar in it until smooth. Beat in the eggs (one at a time), stir in vanilla, and set aside. Take hot water in a bowl and dissolve baking soda in it. Add this mixture along with the salt to the batter.
Stir well and then add chocolate chips, flour, and nuts. Drop this mixture by large spoonfuls on non-greased pans. Bake in the preheated oven until the edges are browned for about 10 minutes.

Chocolate Chip and Coconut Cookies

Ingredients
  • 1 large egg
  • 2¼ cups flour
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup shredded toasted coconut
  • 1 tsp. of vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
Process
Take a medium-sized bowl and add brown sugar, butter, shredded coconut, and egg in it. Keep aside. In another bowl, mix salt, flour, and baking soda. Now add the flour mixture to the egg mixture, combine well, and add in the chocolate chips and vanilla extract.
Now take a parchment paper-covered baking sheet and drop big tablespoons of the mixture onto it. Keep a distance of two inches in between the cookies. Bake at 375º in the oven for just 8-10 minutes. When well baked, let them cool on a wire rack for at least 10 minutes, and then serve.

White Chocolate Dip Cookies

Ingredients
  • 1 packet (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 packet preferred cookies, like chocolate sandwich cookies or pecan shortbread cookies
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp. shortening
  • Assorted sprinkles or small candies
Process
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and keep aside. Now take a large microwave safe bowl and add shortening and chocolate chips to it. Cook until the mixture melts, stirring frequently. When done, crush 2-3 cookies, which will be used for decoration. Now add a cookie in the melted chocolate, dip it in completely, and then remove with a fork.
Place this cookie on a baking sheet and sprinkle the crumbled cookie on it immediately. You can also add candies. Repeat the same procedure with rest of the cookies and chocolates. Refrigerate the cookies for about 30 minutes. While serving, melt and drizzle the white chocolate on the cookies, if desired.
