Creamed Corn Casserole

Casseroles have traditionally been a part of family dinners, and are loved for their simplicity and soul-fulfilling capacity! While there are scores of different types of casseroles you can prepare, how about trying the creamed corn casserole.
This dish, as the name suggests comprises corn, that is high in magnesium and vitamin B. Besides being nutritious, this dish is also convenient, and requires very less preparation time.

Creamed Corn Casserole with Ritz Crackers

Ingredients
  • 1 can or frozen bag of corn
  • 1 carton sour cream
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • ½ cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup chopped celery
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • ¼ cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1 can cut French green beans
  • 1 tube crushed Ritz crackers
  • 1 stick butter
Method of Preparation

Take a 2 quart casserole and combine all the ingredients (except Ritz crackers and butter). Once the ingredients have been mixed well, you need to top it with the Ritz cracker and melted butter mixture. Bake the dish at 350ºF for 45 minutes. 
Once baked, you can sprinkle some cheese and bake for another 5 minutes. Your delicious, hot, creamy casserole is ready to be devoured!

Scalloped Creamed Corn Casserole Crackers

Ingredients
  • 1 pound can cream corn
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onion
  • ½ cup buttered Ritz cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup cracker crumbs
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
Method of Preparation

In a pot, heat the corn and milk together. Then, add 1 cup cracker crumbs, onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Next, stir in the egg and pour the mixture into a round, greased baking dish. Top the mixture with buttered Ritz cracker crumbs. Bake the dish at 350ºF for 20 minutes. Serve hot!

Creamed Corn and Cornbread Casserole

Ingredients
  • 1 can of whole corn, drained
  • 1 can cream corn
  • 8-oz sour cream
  • 1 packet corn bread mix
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 2 eggs
Method of Preparation

Mix all the ingredients in the pan you will bake the casserole in. Stir all the ingredients well and bake the dish at 350º F, for about 1 hour. If you are using a microwave oven, then bake it on full power for about 15 to 18 minutes.

Creamed Corn Bread Casserole

Ingredients
  • 2, 16-ounce packages frozen whole kernel corn
  • 2 cups chopped red and green sweet pepper
  • 1 cup large chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 can condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1 8-ounce tub cream cheese spread with chives and onion
  • ¼ cup milk
  • Non-stick cooking spray
Method of Preparation

Take a 2 quart casserole and coat it lightly with a cooking spray. Then thaw the corn under running water and set aside. Now, take a large saucepan and add 1 tablespoon of butter to it. In this butter, cook the sweet pepper and onion till tender. To this add the corn and black pepper, stir well. 
In a medium bowl, add the soup, cream cheese spread, and milk. Whisk well and pour it into the saucepan containing the corn. Mix well and then pour it into the greased casserole. Bake the dish for about 375ºF for about 50 to 55 minutes.
