How to Make Cookies with White Cake Mix

The smell of freshly-baked cookies is as enticing as the cookies themselves. Read on to know some easy-to-make cookie recipes using white cake mix.

Baking cookies at home can be a lot of fun but can turn out to be a tedious job at the same time. Right from measuring the quantity of the flour and ingredients and cleaning the kitchen once they are made, the entire process can get quite tiring. A ready-made cake mix can make baking cookies very simple, as all the ingredients are measured and added to it.

With Butterscotch

Ingredients White cake mix, 1 box Eggs, 1 Vegetable oil, ½ cup Milk chocolate chips, ½ cup Oatmeal, ½ cup Pecans, ½ cup Butterscotch chips, ½ cup

In a large bowl, mix the cake mix with the eggs and vegetable oil. Add the milk chocolate chips, oatmeal, pecans, and butterscotch chips to this mixture and mix them together. Take a tablespoon of the batter and spoon it onto a greased cookie sheet. Repeat this for the rest of the batter. Bake in a 350 °F preheated oven until the cookies turn golden.

With vanilla frosting

Ingredients Cake mix, 1 box Oil, ⅓ cup Egg, 1 Vanilla frosting, as desired Mix the cake mix, oil, and egg together and spoon this mixture onto the greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 °F until browned. Let the cookies cool on a wire rack and then, top them with the vanilla frosting.

With Chocolate Chips

Ingredients Cake mix, 1 box Oil, ⅓ cup Egg, 2 Semisweet chocolate chips, 2 cups

In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, oil, eggs, and chocolate chips together. Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto the greased cookie sheets, and bake in a 350 °F preheated oven until browned.

With Peanut Butter

Ingredients White cake mix, 18 ounces Creamy peanut butter, 1 cup Eggs, 2 Vegetable oil, ½ cup Water, 2 tablespoons

In a mixing bowl, mix the cake mix, peanut butter, oil, eggs, and water together. Spoon it onto the greased sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in a 350 °F preheated oven, and let the cookies cool on a wire rack before serving.

With Oatmeal

Ingredients White cake mix, 18 ounces Oatmeal, 2 cups Eggs, 2 Sugar, 1 cup Vanilla extract, 1 tbsp Vegetable oil, 1 cup Pecans, 1 cup Semisweet chocolate morsels, 12 ounce

In a bowl, combine the cake mix, sugar, and oatmeal together. In another bowl, mix the oil, eggs, and vanilla extract together. Add this mixture to the cake and oatmeal mix. Stir in the pecans and chocolate morsels, and mix well. Drop spoonfuls of the batter on a greased cookie sheet, and bake at 325 °F until the cookies are well browned.
