Caramel Chocolate Chip Chocolate Fountain Recipe
Ingredients Required
Semisweet chocolate chips, 3 cups
Light brown sugar, 1 cup
Butter, ¼ cup
Milk cream, 1 cup
Vanilla extract, 2 teaspoons
Evaporated milk, 1 cup
Instructions for Preparation For the caramel sauce, take a medium-sized saucepan and melt the butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar and dissolve it after reducing the heat. Make sure that the sugar melts without burning it. Once the sugar dissolves completely add the milk cream while stirring and allow it to simmer slightly.
Remove it from the heat and keep it aside while you prepare the chocolate fountain. Combine the semisweet chocolate chips, butter, evaporated milk and vanilla essence in a separate pan. After the chocolate chips have melted add the sugar and stir till the sugar dissolves.
You can also use powdered sugar in place of granulated sugar. Transfer the caramel sauce to the chocolate mixture and cook for a minute to blend them.
Instructions for Preparation This is one of the variations of a chocolate fountain recipe with chocolate chips. Prepare the chocolate mixture in the same way as the plain chocolate fountain. In a saucepan, heat the whipping cream and chocolate chips, till the chips melt completely and the mixture begins to slightly boil.
Add the honey, as it gives a better flavor to the mixture, along with the vanilla extract and evaporated milk. Stir the mixture for about a couple of minutes and add the orange juice. You can also use orange zest instead of the orange juice. The orange juice gives a citrusy flavor to the chocolate fountain.
And finally transfer the peanut butter (almond or hazelnut butter also make good options) to the saucepan and blend thoroughly. Once you notice the mixture has become creamy, pour it into the fountain. In case you find the chocolate is too thick, add some more whipping cream till you attain the desired consistency.
Add a unique flavor to your chocolate fountain by using different flavors like hazelnut, orange, raspberry, strawberry or anything of your choice. Anyway, it's a sin to resist the temptation of flowing chocolate. Enjoy dipping!
