The fettuccine Alfredo, or the creamy pasta in cheesy sauce, is one of the most popular and most loved Italian dishes all over the world. With its creamy melt in the mouth, fettuccine with cheese and chicken is definitely one of my comfort foods.
You can simply have this dish anytime and it never fails to delight you. If you think the same, you must be looking for easy recipes. Here are some scrumptious and easy recipes for making fettuccine Alfredo, also known as pasta in butter or white pasta.
Although in all these recipes fettuccine is used, you can also substitute it with linguine pasta or penne pasta.

Easy Chicken Alfredo Fettuccine

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 6 ounces of fettuccine pasta
  • ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • ½ cup of milk
  • ¼ teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper

Method of Preparation

Firstly, you should cook the pasta (fettuccine) according to the directions mentioned on the packet. Drain the pasta and leave aside. Next, halve the chicken breast and cut into small cubes. Now, in a skillet, add butter and melt it (on medium heat).
Add chicken in the butter and cook until it turns golden brown. You need to keep stirring to prevent the chicken from burning. Next, add grated cheese, milk and pepper. Lastly, add the pasta and cook for 1-2 minutes. Keep stirring often. Your pasta is ready!

Cajun Chicken Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients

  • 5 ounces of skinless, boneless chicken breast
  • 1 pound of cooked fettuccine
  • 1 cup of chopped sun-dried tomatoes
  • ¾ cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups of thick cream
  • 3 tablespoons of minced garlic
  • ¼ cup of white wine
  • 2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup of blackening spice
  • 1 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of sea salt

Method of Preparation

The oven should be preheated to 350°F. Cover the chicken breast in blackening spice and cook in an iron skillet over high heat until it blackens. Then take it out and place in the oven for 5-10 minutes. Cut the chicken breast into strips. Now, in a pan, add the olive oil and sauté garlic.
Next, put chicken strips and tomatoes to the sautéed garlic. The next step involves deglazing the pan with wine. Then add the cream and reduce this cream sauce to half by simmering. Now add Parmesan cheese, pasta, salt and pepper. Your Cajun style Alfredo pasta is ready! Serve with grated cheese on the top.

Chicken Broccoli Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients

  • 2 skinless boneless chicken breast
  • 6 ounces of dry fettuccine pasta
  • 2 cups chopped fresh broccoli
  • ½ cup of chopped red bell pepper
  • 2 small zucchini cut in thin long strips
  • 8 ounces of package cream cheese
  • ½ cup of milk
  • 6 tablespoons of butter
  • ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons of freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Method of Preparation

The chicken should be cut into small cubes and cooked. The pasta should be cooked according to the directions mentioned on the package. The easiest method of cooking pasta is to bring a pot of water to boil, add pasta to it, cook for 8-10 minutes and then drain.
Adding a pinch of salt to the water prevents pasta from sticking together. Now, in a skillet, melt butter and cream cheese, while keeping on stirring. Add milk, garlic powder, pepper and salt. Keep on simmering and stirring. Next add the vegetables (broccoli, zucchini and red pepper) and chicken to the cream sauce and cook for 3 minutes (medium heat).
Lower the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Put fettuccine in a bowl, pour the cream sauce with vegetables over it, top it with grated cheese and serve.
