Cooking in a casserole is one of the fastest and easiest way to make any kind of dish. They can help you whip up some excellent mouth-watering dishes in a comparatively shorter time.
The breakfast time is one of the busiest for most professionals. Although, this is also the most important meal of the day, most tend to ignore it due to 'lack of time'. Well, with some time management, you can prepare the recipes mentioned below and enjoy some delectable dishes.

Mushroom and Cheese

Ingredients
  • White Bread, 4 Slices
  • Margarine, 2 tbsp.
  • Onion, 1 (chopped)
  • Cubed Ham or Sausage, 1 cup
  • Cheddar Cheese, 1 cup (shredded)
  • Swiss Cheese, 1 cup (shredded)
  • Mushrooms, 1 cup (chopped)
  • Flour, 1 tbsp.
  • Garlic, ½ tsp.
  • Salt, ½ tsp.
  • Eggs, 4 (beaten)
  • Yellow Prepared Mustard, 1 tbsp.
  • Milk, 1½ cup
Preparation:

First, you need to butter a 9" square pan. Spread some butter on the bread slices. Now, keep the bread with the buttered side down in the pan. Next, sauté onion, ham or sausage, and mushrooms with margarine for around 5 minutes. Once done, spread this over the bread.
Now, you have to combine cheddar cheese and Swiss cheese with flour. This mixture needs to be spread over the meat mixture.

Mix garlic, mustard, salt, milk, and eggs. Pour this over the other ingredients and refrigerate overnight. All you need to do in the morning is to bake it uncovered in the casserole for around 45 minutes at 375° F.

Egg and Bacon

Ingredients
  • Butter or Margarine, ¼ cup
  • Seasoned Croutons, 4 cups
  • Milk, 2 cups
  • Eggs, 8 (beaten)
  • Dry Mustard, ½ tsp.
  • Bacon, 12 oz. (cooked and crumbled)
  • Cheddar Cheese, 2 cups (shredded)
Preparation:

Firstly, you need to butter an 11x7x2" baking dish. Place this dish in a microwave oven to slightly melt this butter. Now, put croutons over the butter. Sprinkle some cheese on this and set it aside. Mix milk, eggs, and mustard together. Now pour this egg mixture over the cheese and sprinkle bacon over it.
Bake this dish for around 40 to 50 minutes at 325° F. Before you serve it, let the dish rest for 10 minutes at room temperature.

Country Style

Ingredients
  • Fat-free Sour Cream, ½ cup
  • Fat-free Cheese, 4 slices
  • Green Onions, 2
  • Lean Ham, 4 oz.
  • Eggs, 2
  • Egg Whites, 6
  • Fat-free Milk, 2 cups
  • Parmesan Cheese, 2 tbsp. (grated)
  • Pepper, ½ tps.
  • Dry Mustard, ½ tsp.
  • Frozen Country-style Hash Browns, 2 lbs.
  • Nonstick Cooking Spray
Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 350° F. Lightly coat a 9x13" baking pan with cooking spray. Chop the ham and place it on the baking pan. Next, combine the sour cream with the hash browns and place it on top of the ham. Sprinkle some diced cheese on the hash browns. Use a medium bowl to whisk together eggs with the egg whites.
Chop the onion and use the remaining ingredients to pour over the hash browns. Now, bake this for an hour at 350° F. Cut this into squares before serving. Ensure you let it cool down for around 10 minutes at room temperature, before you serve it.
