Amaretto Cocktail Recipes

Marian K

Amaretto is a sweet almond-flavored liqueur. Here are some recipes on how to make some great cocktails using it.
Amaretto is a liqueur which originated in Italy. To produce it, a base of apricot or almond pits, or sometimes both are used. The word Amaretto is believed to be derived from an Italian word amaro, which means 'bitter'―the flavor lent to the liqueur by bitter almonds. However, the flavor is balanced by sweeteners and sometimes, by sweet almonds.
