Banana Bread
23rd February is the National Banana Bread Day!
Made of mashed bananas, this is a cake-like bread.
White Bread
You can have it with butter, cheese, jam, fried or any way you like, but in the 1920s, white bread was a symbol of industrialization!!!
Breadsticks
Pencil-like sticks, coming from Italy, they are used as appetizers as well as desserts, served with different toppings.
Brioche
A French bread made of yeast, enriched with butter and eggs, it is no less than a pastry!!
Rye Bread
It is rich in fiber, and has a darker color than white bread. This bread has a strong flavor.
Pita Bread
Make a sandwich, pizza or just get a yummy dip, and you are ready to enjoy your pita bread!!
Sourdough
Not by purpose, but this bread came into being accidentally, in as early as around 1500 BC.
Focaccia
The dough is richly flavored with olive oil, topped with herbs and vegetables. To make sweet focaccia, raisins and honey are added to the dough.
Multigrain Bread
Going by the name, this bread is made of flax, millet, oats, barley, wheat and several other grains.
Baguette
In 2016, a startup was launched in France by which people could reserve their baguettes online, to eat them once they would wake from sleep!!
Challah
It holds a special place in Jewish cuisine, eaten on major Jewish holidays and Shabbat (weekly holiday).
Ciabatta
An Italian bread, it was made in response to the popularity of Baguette in France...
